This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made from MONUMENT ATELIER LTD. through our online store.
1. About returns
If you purchase from MONUMENT ATELIER online as a consumer, you have a legal 14-Day Right of Withdrawal from your purchase. You may also cancel an order before it has been dispatched. You can exercise your 14-Day Right of Withdrawal without giving a reason. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the item to us. If your item is defective, damaged, incorrect or otherwise does not conform to the contract, your legal consumer rights apply and this is handled separately from a change-of-mind return. Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory consumer rights.
2. Your 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. For an order containing one item, the withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive the goods. For an order containing several goods delivered separately, the withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day on which you receive the last good. 3. Cancelling an order before dispatch
You may request cancellation of your order at any time before it has been dispatched. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel the order and refund the amount paid, including the amount attributable to the standard delivery charge included in the purchase price. If your order has already been dispatched, you may exercise your 14-Day Right of Withdrawal according to the procedure described in this policy.
4. How to return goods after withdrawal
After informing us that you wish to withdraw, you must send the goods back to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which you communicated your decision to withdraw.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods when exercising your 14-Day Right of Withdrawal. We recommend using a tracked delivery service and keeping your proof of postage until your return has been received and your refund has been processed.
5. Condition of returned goods
You may handle and inspect the jewelry to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, as you would normally be able to do in a physical store. You do not lose your right of withdrawal merely because you have handled or inspected the item. However, you may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Please take reasonable care of the jewelry while it is in your possession. There is no requirement to return the goods in their original packaging, and a receipt is not required in order to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal.
6. Refunds
If you validly exercise your 14-Day Right of Withdrawal, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the amount attributable to the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us. The cost of delivery is charged separately from the price of the goods. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will reimburse the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option you paid for. Where applicable, the corresponding standard delivery amount will therefore be included in your refund. If you expressly selected a delivery method more expensive than our least expensive standard delivery option, we are not required to reimburse the additional cost resulting from your choice. We will reimburse you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. For a sale of goods, however, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you provide evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first. We will normally make the refund using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree to another method and the alternative does not involve any fees for you.
7. I changed my mind
If you simply changed your mind about your purchase, you may use your 14-Day Right of Withdrawal as described above. You do not need to give us a reason. The direct cost of returning the item is your responsibility. This right applies to eligible purchases regardless of whether the item was purchased at full price, on sale or with a promotional discount.
8. Something is wrong with my order
Your 14-Day Right of Withdrawal is separate from your legal rights concerning goods that are defective, damaged, incorrect or otherwise do not conform to the sales contract. Please contact us before returning the item whenever possible so that we can provide the appropriate instructions. Where a legal conformity claim applies, the applicable legal remedies and return-cost rules apply. You will not be required to use the ordinary change-of-mind return procedure for a defective or non-conforming item. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.
9. Certificate of Quality
Where provided, our Certificate of Quality is a product-quality document issued by MONUMENT ATELIER. It identifies the jewelry and its material and may include information such as the product name, product code and material. The absence or loss of a Certificate of Quality does not remove or reduce your statutory consumer rights.
11. Model Withdrawal Form
You may use the following model form to exercise your 14-Day Right of Withdrawal. You do not have to use this form. You may instead use our online withdrawal function or send us any other clear statement informing us that you have decided to withdraw from the purchase.

Our website provides an online withdrawal function that allows you to submit your withdrawal electronically. To use it, select:
The function will direct you to your order so that you can cancel an order before dispatch or submit a return/withdrawal request where applicable. If you submit a withdrawal through our online function, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt by email without undue delay. The acknowledgement will contain the relevant details of your withdrawal, including the date and time of submission.
